Ghostwriting

Creation and/or modification of your longform written communication poses a special and exciting challenge to a ghostwriter. It is a unique honour to work in collaboration with another person to capture his/her or their voice. As a lifelong actor, I feel that I bring my ability to "get in character" and my countless hours of script analysis to my desk when I am ghostwriting. "How would this person say this?" is a question that feels like a puzzle.

My thirst for knowledge and learning is also greatly quenched by stepping into someone else's shoes for awhile, as there is often a bit of a research component to my work. Of late, I have had the honour of adopting a spiritual money coach and a psychologist specializing in perfectionism.

While I would love to fancy myself a Renaissance Boss, I prefer to have my clients provide me with some sort of outline, highlighting vocabulary that falls within their scope of practice and key factors to include in my content. From there, I attempt to capture the voice of my client, and share it with the world in a way that I hope makes readers feel seen, heard and understood. Being able to connect a reader with sympathy, compassion, explanation and support through the written word is liberating and fulfilling to me.
